Hi all,
I just bought my bike about 2 weeks ago and for the most part it runs well. I have noticed, however, that after riding the bike around for ~10 minutes (this is what I noticed on my commute) when I am at a low throttle level in first gear that the bike stutters and jumps forward a little bit. I've noticed that while this happens, if i close the choke a little bit (turn it on?) this feeling of sputtering goes away and the engine runs happier.
I'm not sure if this means I should turn the bike on cold and increase the idler, or anything else. It seems that slightly higher engine rpm's help with this issue.
Also, how long do you run with the choke on or halfway on? In a 10 minute commute should you ever still have it on? Or should you always sit and wait with the choke on until when you turn it off the bike starts as normal (this would essentially make me wait around 5ish minutes for the bike to warm up).
~Thanks for all and any help!
